Professional video monitoring turns cameras into a complete alarm solution, no extra hardware required. Simply select which cameras should be monitored, set an arm/disarm schedule, and choose how monitoring agents should respond to a threat.
Wireless Sensors
Verkada’s wireless intrusion sensors include a full suite of devices to detect alarm events, including door, motion, panic button, glass break, and water leak sensors.
Sensors communicate with the PoE-powered Hub over a proprietary wireless protocol optimized for range, battery life, and network security.
Alarm Panels
For organizations that wish to continue using existing wired sensors, Verkada’s Alarm Panel provides plug-and-play simplicity. The Alarm Panel lets you input events from third-party wired sensors into Command, as well as remotely control emergency signaling outputs, such as sirens or strobe lights.
Alarm Console
The Alarm Console is an intuitive keypad solution designed to enhance your Verkada Alarm system.
In addition to arming and disarming sites, users can view a live camera feed, see recent events, and access a digital panic button in case of emergency. From Command, admins can initiate talk-down video calls to communicate with staff or intruders, and configure custom audio messages to play in the event of an alarm.
Backup Cellular Module
Ensure that facilities are always protected with a backup LTE internet connection. The Cellular Module connects to both the Wireless Hub and wired Alarm Panel via USB, and includes an embedded multi-carrier SIM with automatic failover across multiple networks for redundancy.
Horn Speaker
The outdoor-rated BZ11 Horn Speaker enables users to talk down to intruders from nearly anywhere via Verkada’s Command dashboard or mobile app.
Additionally, organizations can choose to have professional monitoring agents talk down when an alarm is triggered. Prerecorded messages can also be configured to play as an automated alarm response.
Wireless Relay
The BX21 Wireless Relay allows you to integrate third-party wired sirens and strobes into your wireless alarm solution.
The relay provides greater deployment flexibility and is a lighter-weight alternative to an alarm panel.
Panic Button
Whether it’s an armed intruder, assault, or medical emergency, situations that require immediate action can crop up at any time. Verkada’s wireless panic button enables you to immediately and discreetly call for help, while leveraging Verkada camera footage to provide critical context about an incident.
